Writing Huntress Gets Scientific, Tests Magnum’s Elite

Here at Magnum, we love challenges. So when the Writing Huntress asked us about boots for her “exceedingly tiny feet” — her words, not ours — we were up for finding her a boot that met her needs. (For those of you who aren’t aware, we offer sizes as small as a 5 for women, and up to a size 17 in some of our men’s styles.)

The Huntress selected our Elite Spider 8.0, a light, comfortable, athletic tactical desert boot. Like all our women’s boots, these are built around a specific mold, or “last,” to ensure the best fit and comfort for the female foot. The Huntress, who’s passionate not only about the outdoors, but writing as well, showed her quirky and fun side with this review. We could help but chuckle at her “scientific” tests:

“Very Scientific Test #2- Walking with Canines

I enjoy ambulating with my canines but I don’t enjoy snakes, their poisonous venom nor twisting my ankle in a hole or up a hill. Hence [walking dogs without injury or poison]² > [love for snakes or being injured]³ = [boots must make ambulating for long distances comfortable, sans injury {µ }, all the while being able to battle snakes or other monsters if need be.] ∞”

The overall summary from this review? You don’t need to sacrifice size for function (or vice versa). Be sure to head over to HuntLikeYourHungry.Blogspot.com to read the full (and funny) review!
